What Triggers a Notification
You may receive a notification when:
- Task assignment You are assigned to or removed from a task.
- Mentions Someone @mentions you in a comment.
- Comment replies Someone replies to a comment or discussion you are participating in.
- Upcoming deadlines A task assigned to you is due within the next 24 hours.
- Project invitations You are invited to join a new project.
These notifications help ensure that important updates and responsibilities do not get overlooked.
Real-Time Notifications
Notifications are delivered in real time while you are active in TaskChecker.
Powered by Socket.IO , new notifications appear instantly without requiring a page refresh. A notification badge on the bell icon indicates when new activity is waiting for your attention.
Email Notifications
When you are not actively using the application, important notifications can also be delivered by email.
Key events such as task assignments, mentions, and project invitations can be sent to your registered email address, depending on your notification preferences.
This ensures you can stay informed even when you're away from TaskChecker.
Managing Notifications
Select a notification to go directly to the relevant task, comment, or project. Opening a notification automatically marks it as read.
You can also select Mark all as read to clear all unread notifications at once.
